Garners spans 110+ acres of production including various fruits, vegetables, eggs, herbs, grains, plants, flowers, & soybeans.
Most of our products are sold at our roadside market, as well as retail farmers' markets in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and around the Northern Neck of Virginia. We also sell to local restaurants, schools, and stores and proudly support our local food bank. We’re located on Route 3, at Nomini Grove, halfway between Warsaw and Montross, at:

Our Story
Once upon a time on a small farm near Nomini Grove in Westmoreland County, Virginia, the Garner brothers discovered their love for farming. The land they lived on had been owned by the Garner family for many years but it wasn’t until 1960 when the the young Garner teens started a business. From small grains to vegetables, the crops were grown and sold in the nearby cities, locally, and from the farm on the back of a pick-up truck.
Many things have changed since then, but the family’s love and passion for agriculture has not.
Today, Edward Meade Garner owns and operates Garners with the help of his daughters, Dana and Lora, son-in-law, Bernard, niece, Jessica, and many other family members that help out from time to time. Our family works closely together in the daily operations so we can continue to ensure the high quality crops and exceptional customer service that our community has grown to know and love.
